It's not terrible, but it's not exactly the sort of output that makes you confident about staying up. When your survival bid depends on being clinical in tight matches, you need more than one reliable goalscorer.

The Castellanos links aren't new. Leeds have apparently liked him for years. Back in 2022, he chose Girona instead of moving to Elland Road, and then joined Lazio in 2023. Those aren't alien numbers, but he's also been described as sensational at times, and he brings a type of movement and aggression that could fit a Farke team well.

Right now, the striker situation at Leeds is a little strange. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has cemented himself as the first-choice number nine and has scored in each of his last six games. That's great form, but it also highlights a problem: what happens if he cools off or gets injured? Felix Nmecha and Noah Okafor have played up front on occasion, but neither feels like a guaranteed answer in that role.
